Secret Sister Gifts sent for March

When we sign up to participate in the Secret Sister rounds we are required to fill out a questionnaire. This is then given to our partner so they can try and plan what they make around the information we have given them. In the questionnaire we list things like favourite stamp sets, favourite colours, whether or not we like chocolate among other things. Not sure what they mean by that as who doesn’t like chocolate…..lol. Then again sometimes it’s not that we don’t like chocolate but we are not allowed to eat it due to health reasons for example, so this would be where you would list that.

For the first 2 months we need to send 2 cards & 1 handmade gift.

Card 1

My first card I made is using one of my sisters favourite stamp sets and that is Priceless. She also told me that she liked Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette. I didn’t use the Chocolate Chip in this card but in my next one and gift I did.

I hadn’t used Priceless in so long but I was really happy with the way this turned out. I’ve used Pink Pirouette along with Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze.

Here’s the inside:

Card 1 inside

It’s not a fabulous picture unfortunately so I hope you can see what I’ve done. There’s paper piercing around the outside with some stamping to tie in from the front.

I think creating an inside is just as important as an outside these day. It really makes the card that much nicer.

This was her 2nd card & gift. Seeing how March was Easter this is what I themed my card & gift for.

And inside the box is:

Gift 1b

My sister mentioned that her favourite chocolate was Lindt White. I liked white chocolate myself but not sure I’d had Lindt before Easter. It’s now my favourite too…….hehehe.

I’ve made the box to fit the chocolate bunny and eggs. The divider lifts out of the box so it could be used for various sized items. I actually remade it for myself in another colour combo which I’ll share later.

I really liked how this turned out and think my sister was happy with it too.

Tomorrow I will share my April Gifts that I sent to her.

Till next time…..

  • Wow, these are great Nikki. I’m sure your Secret Sister absolutely loved them. I agree with the chocolate bit, who doesn’t like to nibble on some yummy chocolate (in moderation, of course!!!).
