Autumn/Winter Mini Blog Hop + Blog Candy!!

froggy bloghop_l

Welcome to our Stampers Anonymous SU Autumn/Winter Mini blog tour! There are some fantastic new products released in this catalogue tomorrow (April 1st) and we’re going to share some of them with you in our creations.

You may have just come from Chary Belfield’s blog, but if you are starting here, don’t worry … you can make the complete circuit just by following the links at the end of each post. There are 14 stops along the way, including one guest stamper, and we hope you will visit each one to see the wonderful creations we have to show you!

At the end of each post there will be a link to take you to the next stop on the tour.

We are offering 2 lucky visitors the opportunity to win some ‘Blog Candy’ this time around. There are a few things you must do to be eligible and they are:

  1. You must leave a comment on every blog in the tour. Please also leave your full name with the comment.
  2. After leaving your comments, you need to email Kerry and inform her you have done so and would like to be in the running for the blog candy.

Entry is open till midnight April 5th. Demonstrators are welcome to participate.

**Blog candy is available to residents in Australia only.

So grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy the tour.

I love the colours in the new Cottage Wall DSP and of course the coordinating stamp set Cottage Garden (available in Clear Mount or Wood Mount), so I had to use them in my creations I’m sharing with you today. Rich Razzleberry is just gorgeous in real life so you will definitely need to order some cardstock, inkpad and ribbon asap and hopefully I’ll entice you on the Cottage Wall DSP and Cottage Garden stamp set too.

My creations were inspired by one of Andrea Walford’s Demo to Demo planners from back in September 2008 using Upsy Daisy. You may have seen this one before.

I only said the inspiration came from this. I love the box for the cards so I altered it to fit Australian sized cards (ours are a little narrower and a little taller) and created 4 cards to go along with it and came up with this.

Set 1a

Aren’t the colours just gorgeous. The more I look at this the more I like it.

I hope that’s what you think too.

Card Box

Here’s a close up of the box.

I’ve made the main part of the box using Orchid Opulence cardstock and my alterations mean I can get this out of an A4 sheet. For the lid I’ve used some Old Olive textured cardstock. A strip of the new Cottage Wall DSP, some images stamped and cut out from the Cottage Garden stamp set and the verse (also from Cottage Garden) has been punched out using the Wide Oval punch and then I’ve layered it onto one of the lovely new ‘Lots of Tags’ dies.

Now for a closer look at the cards.

  Card 2               Card 4                    Card 3

Email me for further details or to book your spot. I’m happy to bring the class to you if you have a group of 6 or more.

Some upcoming events…..

I’m sure you realise that we have a new Autumn/Winter Mini catalogue being released on Thursday April 1st (which happens to be my mum’s birthday) for the Australian & New Zealand Stampin’ Up! market. So what does that mean apart from some wonderful new products??

Blog Hops.

Yes, it is plural.

To start with, the team I’m part of which is run by the very talented and wonderful Marelle Taylor is holding a Blog Hop commencing at 9pm March 31st. Yep. That’s tomorrow night, so not long to wait now. We have 13 of our team participating in the Blog Hop and a special guest stamper, Teneale Williams, joining us too. Something new to our blog hop this time round, apart from Teneale that is, is that we are offering some ‘Blog Candy’. Details of how you can win will be included in the Blog Hop posts.

The next Blog Hop will be the ESAD-SU one which I will be participating in at 8am April 7th. They will also be having one at 8am April 1st and you can start that one from my fellow StampersAnonymous team mate, Juliette Chapman’s blog.

Would you like a sneak peek now??? No it’s not a sneak peek of my projects, you’ll have to come back and do the blog hops to see those, but it is a peek of a slight variation of one of the cards you can make at my Stamp-A-Stack class in April and it uses some of the gorgeous new products from the Autumn/Winter Mini. I have varied the card slightly for my mum’s birthday card with the sentiment.

Mum's Birthday card

For this card I’ve used a new stamp set, a lovely new In Color and a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

What do you think??

Here’s how I finished the inside of the card.

froggy bloghop_l

Welcome to the 2nd Stampers Anonymous SU blog tour! This time round we will be showcasing the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. The Sale-A-Bration stamp sets are FREE sets you can earn for every $100 purchased till 31st March. These stamp sets are not available for purchase so if there is one, two, three or maybe all 4 you would like then you need to contact your demonstrator (or me if you don’t already have a demonstrator) and place an order before you miss out.

You may have just come from Fiona’s blog, but if you are starting here, don’t worry … you can make the complete circuit just by following the links at the end of each post. There are 9 stops along the way and we hope you will visit each one to see the wonderful creations we have to show you!

At the end of each post there will be a link to take you to the next stop on the tour. Feel free to “share the love” and leave a comment! So sit back, relax and enjoy!

Now for my projects.

I was really happy with the selection of Sale-A-Bration stamp sets this year and I’m going to show you a couple of projects using 2 of the sets.

First up is Happy Moments. This set contains 4 images + 3 sentiment stamps and can be utilised for many occasions.

This set of cards is one of the sets you can make in my February Stamp-A-Stack class. This class is scheduled for Tuesday 23rd February at 7pm and I still have a few spots available if you are interested. Classes are held in my home at Lalor Park NSW. If you’d like to come along you can email me or call on 0418 218 467 to reserve your seat. Class cost is $15 (if you bring your own snail) or $20 if you use mine and you will make 8 cards with envelopes.

ESAD- SU Blog Hop

Yes this is my 2nd Blog Hop all within 10 hours……  Am I crazy?? No. I just love Stampin’ Up and their products.

This blog hop is presented to you by 30 demonstrators who belong to a yahoo group called ESAD-SU (Extremely Special Australian Demonstrators – Stampin’ Up). This group is open to Australian & New Zealand Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and is a great resource for sharing information, technique talks, cyberstamps, swaps, etc with fellow demonstrators. If you are an Australian or New Zealand SU demonstrator and would like to join you will find us here.

I mentioned this blog hop has 30 demonstrators participating and we will all be showcasing some of the ‘new’ products in the Summer Mini Catalogue released today. As an extra incentive to visit all the blogs if you also leave a comment on each one you can then email Leonie Schroder who will place your name in a draw to win some blog candy.

If you have visited my blog in the past then you might remember that Bold Brights is my least used colour family. Well do I have a surprise for you.

One of the most gorgeous items in the Summer Mini is the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Papers and  they have Bold Brights colours in them. At first I wasn’t going to get them but once you see them in person you just have to have 1, 2 maybe 3 packs…..lol. Hopefully I’ll convince you of that now too.

Anyway, you’ve probably figured out by now that my items I’m going to share with you are made using these gorgeous papers.

Kaleidoscope DSP Handbag

First up is this gorgeous handbag. Well I think it is anyway.

The colours that coordinate with the paper are Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Summer Sun, Only Orange, Pink Passion & Pixie Pink.

Seeing we don’t have any thick ribbon in those colours I went with Regal Rose which I think looks pretty good.

This bag is made using 1 sheet of Kaleidoscope DSP and a few bits of cardstock. Very quick and simple to make, yet very effective.

Kaleidoscope DSP Handbag open

Now if you open the bag up this is what it looks like.

Inside I’ve made 4 gift card size cards using some of the same dsp as the bag.

                    4 x Gift Cards

The 4 cards.

Now for my final items I’ve taken a cheap $2 – $3 notepad and covered it in some more of the gorgeous Kaleidoscope DSP and also added a strip to a plain pen and turned it into a wonderful gift. My eldest daughter actually asked if she could have it but I think I’m keeping this one for me. I’ll decorate another for her……

Kaleidoscope DSP Notebook & Pen

Isn’t this pattern gorgeous?

Supplies List:
Stamps: Best Yet (Hostess Level 1 set)
Ink: Only Orange, Tempting Turquoise, Regal Rose
Card: Tempting Turquoise, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Pink Passion
Accessories: Small & Large Oval, Designer Label , Scallop Circle, Square & Edge, 1 1/4” & 1 3/8” Circle , Round Tab & Word Window Punches, Regal Rose 5/8”, Tempting Turquoise 1/4” & Whisper White 1/4” grosgrain ribbon, Rhinestone Brads – Ice, Crop-a-dile, Glue Stick, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sticky Strip.

Non-SU: Velcro dot, Pen, Notepad & word ‘Notes’ created on computer.

I hope I have inspired you with my Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper creations and now Pauline Bennetts going to share her creations with you.

Don’t forget to leave me a comment if you want the chance to win some blog candy. Once you have left a comment on all 30 blogs email Leonie and let her know. Comments must be left and Leonie emailed no later than midnight 2nd December Australian EST.

Summer Mini Blog Hop

froggy bloghop_l

Welcome to the Stampers Anonymous SU blog tour! You may have just come from Lorna Casha’s blog, but if you are starting here, don’t worry….you can make the complete circuit just by following the links at the end of each post. There are 14 stops along the way and we hope you will visit each one to see the gorgeous creations we have to show you!

For our first tour we decided to showcase the beautiful new products in the Summer Mini, available to you from December 1st. At the end of each post there will be a link to take you to the next stop on the tour. Feel free to “share the love” and leave a comment! So sit back, relax and enjoy!

The items I’ve made to share with you all today are all made using the gorgeous new RAZZLE DAZZLE stamp set.

Coasters x 4

For something a little different (for me anyway) I decided to create some coasters using tiles I’d purchased last year and had still yet to use. I thought this stamp set would work well and here is the end result.

Of course I then needed something to present them in…..

Coaster set in packaging

You can’t really see from the picture but there is a clear cover that slides on over the base container. The ribbon and tag finish it off.

Razzle Dazzle Post-It Note Holder

Next up is a Post-It Note holder. I’ve actually added magnetic strips to the back so it can be placed on a fridge or even a filing cabinet so you should never be without pen and paper to write out that shopping list of make a note of something important.

Razzle Dazzle card

To complete my items I’ve made a coordinating card.

Supplies List:
Stamps: Razzle Dazzle, En Francais, Occasional Greetings
Ink: Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red (Markers & Inkpads)
Card: Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Square Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8” Circle Punch, Dots & Designs Rub-Ons, Circle Scissor Plus, Rose Red 1” Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Sticky Strip, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive, Stamp-a-ma-jig.
