I had my last September Stamp-A-Stack class today so now I can share the cards with you that we made.
The card for today is using the lovely new Christmas set ‘Contempo Christmas’, new Jolly Holiday DSP and the gorgeous new colour, Cherry Cobbler.
This is a very quick card which makes for a great Stamp-A-Stack card or a great card when you need to make large quantities. I’ll be making some more of these up for my personal Christmas cards this year along with a few other designs.
Now for a look at the whole card.
See a very simple card and quick to mass produce.
I’m so loving the new Cherry Cobbler colour and can see me using lots of it any time of the year.

I was asked by one of my regular Stamp-A-Stack attendees to make a Black & White card with a touch of red for this month along with another Christmas Card. I don’t tend to use a lot of just ‘black and white’ and then recalled a card my upline, Marelle Taylor, had made a while back after a similar request. I changed the ribbon to Real Red and that’s what we made or will be making as my last group is on Monday.
Here’s a picture of both the ‘Black & White’ and the ‘Christmas’ card for this month.
Christmas Card Supplies: Stamp sets: Holiday Lineup, Best Yet (hostess set) Card: Bashful Blue, Whisper White Inks:Stazon Jet Black Accessories: Bashful Blue double-stitched ribbon(retiring), Scallop Oval & Large Oval punches, Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder, Watercolor Pencils, Aqua Painter, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.
Black & White Card Supplies: Stamp sets: Circle Circus, Think Happy Thoughts (retiring) Card: Basic Black, Whisper White Inks: Stazon Jet Black Accessories: Corner Rounder Punch, Real Red 5/8” grosgrain ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Starting from my July Stamp-A-Stack classes, one of the 2 sets of cards we make (you make 4 each of 2 different designs) is a Christmas card. In past years I’ve run separate Christmas Stamp-A-Stack classes but the ladies that currently attend are happy to make 1 Christmas and 1 other as this will give them enough Christmas Cards by November to send out while still making other occasion cards.
However, if you would like to make just Christmas Cards I’m happy to hold a Christmas Stamp-A-Stack class once a month in my home or if you have a minimum of 5 friends that would also like to make some Christmas cards then I’m happy to come to you. To arrange this you can either email me or call on 0418 218 467 to discuss dates. I am available for classes most days of the week during school hours or if you prefer an evening we can work that out too.
So what cards did we make in July?
The ‘Thinking of You’ card has been made using the Always stamp set and Sweet Always DSP along with coordinating colour inks and cardstock.
The Christmas card is using the ‘A Holly, Jolly Christmas’ stamp set and Holiday Treasures DSP, coordinating colour inks and cardstock. I’ve cut up the Christmas sentiment for something a little different and mounted onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’ve also added some Dazzling Diamonds to the pom pom on Santa’s hat and also Santa’s jacket buttons to jazz it up a little. Unfortunately the ‘A Holly, Jolly Christmas’ stamp set is one on the Last Chance List so if it’s a set you like don’t delay, place an order today so you don’t miss out.
This past Thursday was my final Christmas Stamp-A-Stack for the year.
Here is the 1st card we made:
I’ve used the Solemn Stillness stamp set with the overlay done using Gold EP.
The colours used are Kraft, Bravo Burgundy, Blue Bayou and Very Vanilla cardstock along with Mellow Moss, Bravo Burgundy and Versamark inkpads.
I don’t often use Kraft but was very happy with this combination so must make a note to self to try and use Kraft more often.
Now the second card I’ve used my all time favourite stamp set ‘Season of Joy’. I’m so going to miss this set on Monday when it’s no longer available for purchase but at least I have mine. If you like it as much as me but still don’t have your own set then don’t miss out place your order with me by 9pm Sunday 30th November. I can have it shipped directly to you anywhere in Australia and you will still have time to make some last minute Christmas Cards……. You can place your order by email or phone on 02 9620 9092 or Mob: 0418 218 467
Now to actually show you the card:
This is a very quick and simple card but still very effective and definitely says ‘Christmas’.
I’ve used Real Red, Old Olive, River Rock and Very Vanilla Cardstock along with some Dashing DSP, Real Red Inkpad and a little bit of Real Red grosgrain ribbon.
This would make an ideal last minute card as it takes very little time and you can make multiples using just 1 sheet of the Dashing DSP along with your coordinating cardstock in no time.
