Life is Beautiful

I’m back with another card for today. For this card I’ve used this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #176. It’s been quite a while since I’ve participated in a Mojo Monday challenge but it was good to play along again.

Here’s the sketches we were provided with.

I’ve chosen to use the Square layout for my card and this is the end result.

I’ve used a few ‘new to use’ items on this card. I don’t think I’ve used the Lap of Luxury DSP before or the ‘Style Beautiful’ stamp set. The flower trim is using one of the Itty Bitty Shapes punches which I only received a few days ago.

Supplies:
Stamps: Style Beautiful
Card: Basic Gray, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Lap of Luxury DSP
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: Itty Bitty Shapes punch, Basic Jewels – Pearls, Tombo Mono Multi adhesive.

Till next time…

Artistic Etchings

I’m back with another Sketch Challenge card to share with you all and this time it’s CPS 202 Part 1 from the Card Positioning Systems blog.

I’m not sure if I’ve participated in any challenges from this site before but as you’ve probably gathered, that is if you’ve been visiting my blog for a while, my aim for this year is to be more productive with my stamping and participate in as many challenges as I can. So far I think I’m doing pretty good. Just need to keep it up.

I’d love to find some more challenge blogs though, so if you know of any good ones please leave me a comment with a link to them. I’d really appreciate it.

I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with this sketch at first, so I browsed through the IB&C to see what stamp sets I thought would work for the circle pieces and decided upon Artistic Etchings. Now I have used this set before but not a lot.

I went with the Love Letters DSP and coordinating colours for my theme and this is what I came up with.

I’m still not sure if it needs a sentiment/word stamped on the front or not.

What do you think??

Supplies:
Stamps: Artistic Etchings
Card: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Love Letters DSP
Inks: Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Cutter Kit, Antique Brads, 1 3/4” Circle Punch.

Blushing Bliss

For today’s card I’ve teamed 2 challenges again with another of the new gorgeous Sale-A-Bration stamp sets.

The sketch comes from Karen Giron and is this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC 101.

The colours are from this weeks Inkspirations Challenge and is Colour Challenge #54.

This is what I came up with using these 2 challenges.
