Secret Santa Part 1

I can finally come on and share some things with you. I’ve decided to split them over a few days posts so hopefully I’ll have some more to show you by then.

Each year at our Stampin’ Up team have a Christmas Dinner and we also run a Secret Santa swap. The swap involves creating a gift for your partner, which includes some Stampin’ Up product, and also to send them a card prior to the evening.

I’m just going to share the lovely card that my Secret Santa sent to me today and this is it.

There are so many things about this card that I love.

The use of Satin Ribbon is a big one. I just love this ribbon but for those that visit my blog regularly you might have guessed that already.

The Scallop Trim border punch. This punch is just that bit more delicate looking than the Scallop Edge Punch.

The Jolly Holiday DSP. Now who doesn’t love this. The colour combination of Cherry Cobber (or should I say Kerry Cobbler – little joke from last night….lol), Old Olive and Very Vanilla is just gorgeous together and add some Crumb Cake to the mix and well what more can I say.

Lastly, but by no means the least is the use of the Snow Swirled stamp set with some Basic Jewel Rhinestones just tops the whole card off.

Now I loved this card so much I ended up CASING it, with just a little adaption/omission, for my last Christmas Stamp-A-Stack for the year as well as for a good percentage of my personal Christmas Cards.

Here is my adapted version.

I’ve omitted the bow as I thought that would be too fiddly for bulk production and in it’s place I’ve added a few more stamped images. This version is so quick to put together once you have everything cut and punched.

I’ve also decorated the inside of the card like my Secret Santa had.

Thank you again Secret Santa (I’ll name her in my next post) for your lovely card and inspiration.

Till next time….

Christmas Gift Card Holders & Money Sliders

Money holder & Gift Card holder

This month in my Stamp-A-Stack classes we’ll be making these items. You can make a combination of both (4 Gift Card holders & 2 money sliders) or your choice of only one variety (8 Gift Card Holders or 4 Money Sliders). All materials are supplied for a cost of $20. I’m running extra classes this month and I still have spaces available. I can also bring this class to you if you have a group of 5 or more.

The Gift Card holders will fit any gift card including iTunes, Movie Gift Cards, Store cards, etc. Great for teenagers or those that are hard to buy for. Money Sliders…. pretty obvious what usually goes in those.

Class dates and times are as follows:

Tuesday 12th October 9:30am or 7:30pm

Friday 15th October 9:30am

Tuesday 26th October 7:30pm

If you’d like to come along or book me to bring the class to you then email me or phone on H: 02 9620 9092 or M: 0418 218 467.

Razzleberry Elements

September SAS close up

I’m back to share the other card those that attended my September Stamp-A-Stack classes got to make.

This time we’ve used the beautiful ‘Elements of Style’ stamp set and some of the new 1 1/4” striped ribbon. I hate to admit it but I really didn’t think I’d fuss with this ribbon at first. Then I saw the gorgeous creation Marelle made for our recent blog hop and new I had to have some. Well this is the 2nd card I’ve shown you in just a few days were I’ve used it and I’m sure you will see lots more of it.

My card was CASED from this card on Splitcoaststampers and I’ve just changed out the colours. I loved how simple yet elegant it looked.

Here’s the full card.

Most of the ladies finished off the card with a sentiment also. They also decided to loose the little Jewelry Tag punch and words on the front and instead made them Birthday Cards.

This is how they turned out with that little adaption.

Contempo Christmas

September SAS close up

I had my last September Stamp-A-Stack class today so now I can share the cards with you that we made.

The card for today is using the lovely new Christmas set ‘Contempo Christmas’, new Jolly Holiday DSP and the gorgeous new colour, Cherry Cobbler.

This is a very quick card which makes for a great Stamp-A-Stack card or a great card when you need to make large quantities. I’ll be making some more of these up for my personal Christmas cards this year along with a few other designs.

Now for a look at the whole card.

August Stamp-A-Stack

I was asked by one of my regular Stamp-A-Stack attendees to make a Black & White card with a touch of red for this month along with another Christmas Card. I don’t tend to use a lot of just ‘black and white’ and then recalled a card my upline, Marelle Taylor, had made a while back after a similar request. I changed the ribbon to Real Red and that’s what we made or will be making as my last group is on Monday.

Here’s a picture of both the ‘Black & White’ and the ‘Christmas’ card for this month.
