Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful New Years Eve and wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2010.
New Year’s Eve is pretty quiet for my family. We usually just spend it at home with our children. The youngest stay up and watch the Children’s Fireworks on TV that go off at 9pm and generally toddle off to bed not long after. Our eldest stays up to watch the midnight Fireworks with hubby and I. In between though we usually do our own thing.
So what did I do. I listened to the Music Countdown for the top 30 songs of 2009 while crafting.
What did I make?
I started off by making another Desktop Calendar drawer unit this time using the Bella Bleu DSP with Not Quite Navy & Very Vanilla cardstock.
There’s a little sneak peek on this one…..
And then I made this.
I love this project. Frances from the Stamp Owl Studio had one on her blog earlier this month using Good Morning Sunshine DSP and the Cheep Talk stamp set which was just gorgeous. Frances provided some links for instructions so I saved her post to go back later and get them to make my own. I wanted to use a stamp set, DSP and colours I hadn’t used for a while. I tend to get in a rut of using the same things over and over again while others are neglected.
Supplies for this project are:
Stamp set: Always
Card: Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Sweet Always DSP
Inks: Regal Rose & Pumpkin Pie.
Accessories: 1 1/4” & 1 3/8” Circle Punches, Photo Corner Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Rhinestone Brads – Fire Circles, Regal Rose 5/8” Grosgain Ribbon, Circle Scissors Plus
Thanks for visiting.
Till next time……
Happy Stamping
