Thank you, but….

March 31, 2010 | 5 comments

I want to start out by saying ‘Thank You’ to those of you that have been visiting my blog and also to those that have been leaving comments. It’s always nice to know you are stopping by and that you like what you are seeing. So, Thank you.

My post last night showed you the birthday card I made for my mum and mentioned that it was a variation of one of my April Stamp-A-Stack classes. Well I’m here to show you the 2 cards we will be making. You will actually make 4 of each design during the class which is being held on Tuesday 13th April and there will be a morning session and an evening session available. If you’d like to book in to the class you can email me or phone on 0418 218 467. Cost of the class is $15 if you bring your own snail adhesive or $20 if you use mine. All other materials + envelopes supplied. I can also bring this class to you if you have a group of 6 or more.

Thank You and Stamp-A-Stack cards

This version of the card using the Vintage Vogue stamp set has a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set (also being released tomorrow) and has Happy Mother’s Day which is punched out using the word window punch. Teeny Tiny Sentiments has 24 images in the set, not all appropriate for this card but lots of others that are, so you could change the sentiment on each card rather than have 4 Mother’s Day cards. Most people only need 1 or 2.

The other card for this month is a CASE (minus a few bits) from the main Idea Book & Catalogue and is appropriate for males. The verse is from the same set as the main image and that is from the Seaworthy stamp set. You can add any sentiment inside the card so it could be used for Birthday, Father’s Day or just for someone special to let them know you are thinking of them.

So what do you think?? Will you leave me a comment????

Don’t forget to come back tonight at 9pm Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (that’s about 7 1/2 hours from now) to check out the StampersAnonymous team blog hop.

Hi Nikki, I too have been a bit slack when it comes to leaving comments and I have also decided to do more of it!! I just love both of these cards you have made.

The male card is just perfect and I love the colours you have chosen. I also can’t wait to get my hands on the new colour range that is coming up and I love the card created using it.

You are in my Google Reader, so I see all your posts through that. I do however feel that when people use this format (me included) you tend to skip to the next blog and not leave comments because you have to open up the blog fully. I have found less people comment on my blog these days probably for the same reason. However you have made me think about it and I promise I will leave comments to projects I like more often. I love your work. x

I, too read your blog from google reader and forget to go back and comment. But I do love what I see on your blog, and often star things I’d like to try. I’ll try and be better at commenting when I do.

Nikki, I love both these cards. I’m hoping to get to one of your day time classes, because I babysit Sun – Thur each week at Pendle Hill. I’m also interested in your current share
