Razzleberry Elements

I’m back to share the other card those that attended my September Stamp-A-Stack classes got to make.

This time we’ve used the beautiful ‘Elements of Style’ stamp set and some of the new 1 1/4” striped ribbon. I hate to admit it but I really didn’t think I’d fuss with this ribbon at first. Then I saw the gorgeous creation Marelle made for our recent blog hop and new I had to have some. Well this is the 2nd card I’ve shown you in just a few days were I’ve used it and I’m sure you will see lots more of it.

My card was CASED from this card on Splitcoaststampers and I’ve just changed out the colours. I loved how simple yet elegant it looked.

Here’s the full card.

and the inside was finished this way

Most of the ladies finished off the card with a sentiment also. They also decided to loose the little Jewelry Tag punch and words on the front and instead made them Birthday Cards.

This is how they turned out with that little adaption.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Elements of Style, Tiny Tags, Occasional Greetings
Card: Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Rich Razzleberry 1 1/4” striped grosgrain ribbon, Rich Razzleberry 1/4” grosgrain ribbon, Linen Thread, Medium Jewelry Tag Punch, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Till next time…..

Contempo Christmas

I had my last September Stamp-A-Stack class today so now I can share the cards with you that we made.

The card for today is using the lovely new Christmas set ‘Contempo Christmas’, new Jolly Holiday DSP and the gorgeous new colour, Cherry Cobbler.

This is a very quick card which makes for a great Stamp-A-Stack card or a great card when you need to make large quantities. I’ll be making some more of these up for my personal Christmas cards this year along with a few other designs.

Now for a look at the whole card.

See a very simple card and quick to mass produce.

I’m so loving the new Cherry Cobbler colour and can see me using lots of it any time of the year.

Pop back tomorrow to see the other card we made for September.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Contempo Christmas, Many Merry Messages (used on insert)
Card: Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Jolly Holiday DSP
Ink: Cherry Cobbler inkpad, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler & More Mustard Stampin’ Write Markers.
Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Till next time….

Shimmery For You

The other technique I taught for September was using the new Shimmer Paints. This was the first time I had used them and they are just gorgeous in real life. Unfortunately they don’t photograph real well or I haven’t worked out yet how to so you can see the shimmer anyway.

Rich Razzleberry would have to be one of my new favourite colours since the Autumn/Winter Mini but I wasn’t sure what other colours I would use with it at first. I pulled out the new Colour Coach to see what suggestion it had and ended up with my colours for this card of Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie.

Lots of new goodies used on this card too.

I’ve used the ‘For You Flower’ a la carte stamp combined with the stem & leaves stamp from the ‘Sweethearts’ stamp set. The ‘For You Flower’ has a coordinating punch which makes this a great one to use if you want to pop it up without having to worry about cutting out. I’ve also used some of the new Pumpkin Pie 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain ribbon which I’ve added a new Rich Razzleberry button to. I didn’t use buttons much in the past but I can see me using lots of the new collections.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: For You Flower, Sweetheart
Card: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie & Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry reinker, Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint
Accessories: 1 1/4” Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon, Bold Collections buttons, Fancy Flower Punch, 1 1/4” circle punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, sponge dauber, crochet cotton (non-SU)
