I’m on a roll as this makes 3.
There are so many great challenges that are posted every week and they are not only great to participate in but help get the mojo flowing. I haven’t participated in many for a while and some of the ones I regularly bookmark I never get around to doing in time.
The challenge I’ve used for the card I’m going to share with you is from The Sweet Shop Sketch Challenge Blog and is this weeks challenge SSS73.
When I saw this sketch I knew exactly what new Designer Series Paper and new Stamp set I wanted to use. I love how that happens. It makes your card come together so much quicker.
So without further ado……
Here is my card.
I’ve use the new Elegant Soiree DSP, Awash With Flowers stamp set with coordinating inkpads & cardstock. Each layer has been daubered around the edges. I’m loving that we now have a Crumb Cake (previously known as Kraft) inkpad. It’s nice and soft for edges of lighter cardstock and I’ve used it on the Very Vanilla and DSP edges. I unfortunately had to use retired ribbon as the only colour we had that would coordinate that is now current was Very Vanilla but I didn’t think that would look as good.
Supplies:
Stamp set: Awash With Flowers
Card: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Elegant Soiree DSP.
Ink: Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede.
Accessories: Filigree Brad, sponge daubers, Soft Suede Polka Dot ribbon (retired).
So what do you think??
Till next time…..
