I don’t really need an anniversary card right now but that’s just what this card ended up being.
The colours for todays card comes from Rubber Redneck’s Colour Round Up #20.
I wasn’t sure what stamp set I was going to use at first, but then I remembered something that arrived in my last order which I wanted to use and this determined the stamp set.
I’ve been browsing some blogs looking at some of the gorgeous Valentine’s creations out there recently and kept seeing a scallop edge heart on some of the projects using the heart from the ‘Punch Potpourri’ stamp set. At first I had no idea what it was but I eventually worked it out. It’s the ‘Scallop Heart of Hearts’ die. Many of you probably already knew this but in case your were wondering like me, know you’ll know too.
So my card today is using the Punch Potpourri stamp set along with the Scallop Heart of Hearts die.
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Punch Potpourri, A Word for You
Card: Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Subtles Pattern Stack (So Saffron), In Colour DSP Pack – Hostess (Pear Pizzazz)
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Big Shot, Scallop Heart of Hearts die, Daffodil Delight 5/8” Satin ribbon, Full Heart Punch, Blender Pen
Edited to add: My card won the Colour Round Up #20 for the week.
Till next time….
Hi Nikki!
Isn’t it funny how a stamp can dictate what sort of card you make! lol I sat and made a wedding card today…………don’t need one, but that’s the directions my stamps made me go! lol
Your card is really lovely. I would have to say, you’re one of my favourite clean and simple stampers!
