For my 2nd card today, I’ve combined 2 more challenges.
These 2 were a bit more of a challenge than I first thought but after a bit of playing around, changing my mind on stamp sets, I’m reasonably happy with the end result.
The Sketch Challenge is from Sweet Sunday and is #SSSC103.
The colours are from this weeks Color Q cQc #71.
These colours do look pretty but trying to work out how to use them all in the same creation was a little bit of a struggle. I guess if I’d used more Whisper White and only hits of the other colours it might have been easier.
Initially I was going to use the Baroque Motifs stamp set as I haven’t used it in ages but when I worked out my card measurements I changed my mind as the centre image piece was way small for this set.
I’ve ended up using the 2-Step Bird Punch, Elements of Style and Vintage Vogue stamp sets.
See what I mean by all that ‘Pink’…..
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Vintage Vogue, Elements of Style
Card: Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White, In Colours DSP Patterns Pack – Blushing Bride (Hostess), Subtles Pattern Stack – Pink Pirouette
Ink: Blushing Bride, Versamark
Accessories: 2-Step Bird Punch, Circle Scissor Plus.
Don’t forget to pop on over to this post if you’d like a chance at winning some blog candy. You only have till 8pm Sunday 13th February (Sydney Time) to be eligible.
Till next time….
