I’m back with a challenge card

March 7, 2011 | 2 comments

Sorry about my sudden disappearance, especially since I’d been so active for a few weeks. I was hoping to keep that up until I had some family issues (teenagers and their attitudes) to deal with which took me away from everything for a while. Things are settling down and last week I managed to create a few things but those one’s I can’t share with you as they were for my Secret Sister swap over on Stampin’ Up in Oz. However I did create a birthday card last Friday for my wonderful friend and neighbour Meighan, which I’m going to share with you now. I had purchased Meighan a bunch of gorgeous wildflowers earlier in the day and the colours made me think of Concord Crush which I know is a current favourite of Meighan’s so I’ve used that in her card.

The challenge is from Clean & Simple #129.

As I had decided to use Concord Crush I went with the Lap of Luxury DSP, coordinating cardstock & Ink, the Style Beautiful stamp set along with Well Scripted for the sentiment. Here’s what I ended up with.

So what do you think??

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Style Beautiful, Well Scripted
Card: Concord Crush, Pretty In Pink, Very Vanilla, Lap of Luxury
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Concord Crush
Accessories: Pretty in Pink 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Nestabilities (non-SU)

I’ll be back in the more with a card for the Just Add Ink challenge for this week.

Till then…..

It’s great to have you back posting Nikki 🙂 I love the colours you have used for Meighan’s card. I’m sure she’s going to love it.
