Market Stall photos and my creations

I’m finally back to post some photos of our Market Stall on the weekend. Silly me forgot to take my camera in the end but I had my iPad so was still able to take some but they aren’t the best sorry.

We were in a room of our own on the day with 2 tables on one side of the walkway and one on the other. We decided to use the single table for the Make & Take area and the other 2 tables for our handmade items and the Big Shot demonstration.

Unfortunately it was a quite day but hopefully next month will be different. Next month we are at the St Mary’s Memorial Hall which is on the 15th July from 12noon till 4pm.

This is our Make & Take area.

The right side of the first picture and most of the second picture is showing the items I made to sell. I have some better pictures of my items below except for the Tissue Box covers (the larger boxes at the back) as these were left overs from our Annual Craft Sale.

So for a closer look at my items here they are.

Some lollies for the children.

I also did Starburst Lollipop Flowers too.

I’ve used an old Ferrero Rocher container with some Flower Foam to display and hold these. I covered the outside with some DSP to dress them up.

Next up was some choccies for the grown-ups.

A couple suitable for the males, one for the young at heart and the rest for the ladies.

And the final item was some Post-It Note Holders. Some of these were made to match the Ferrero Rocher Gift Boxes.

I managed to make all these items in 3 days. We had only found out while at Convention that we had secured the Market stall. Initially I was just going to take my Tissue Box Covers and some cards to sell but a couple of days prior I managed to get moving and hoped these items would draw some interest.

Would love to hear what you think of my creations and also if you have some other suggestions of what might sell well. We will be doing the Market Stall each month (apart from August as we have a Team Stamp Camp that was already organised) and a special October Stall which will be a Girls Night In.

Till next time…..

Craft Market

Hi all.

Sorry for the slow down of posts again but I’ve been a little busy creating some items for a Craft Market stall this Sunday along with dealing with this rotten rainy weather and the washing and ironing for 6 people. Does it ever end…..

This will be my first ever Market Stall which I am holding with 2 other demonstrators and so looking forward to it. Not too sure on the sorts of things people will be interested in purchasing so I’m just making small amounts of different things to get an idea for next month. There will be handmade items, some decorated treats for the little ones and some items for the grown ups too, a Make & Take you can do showcasing some of the items in the current Autumn/Winter Mini (we’ll have a special Market offer available on these items) and also a Big Shot demonstration, so if you have no set plans for Sunday why not pop out and visit us.

These markets are a regular monthly event with varying locations. You can check out the Western Sydney Community Indoor Markets for more info on Facebook or their website.

Hope to see you Sunday and don’t forget to say Hi.

I’ll have plenty of photos to share after the market stall.

Till next time…..

so many Smiles…..

Todays card is one I demonstrated at the workshop last Tuesday. With having the ‘Reason to Smile’ stamp set promotion for this month I thought it appropriate to show the ladies how easy it was to create a wonderful simple card using this set.

The inspiration for this layout came from the lovely Linda Higgins. Mine is a lot simpler than Linda’s as I didn’t want to do a technique card just something quick and simple. Linda’s card is absolutely gorgeous but I hope you still like mine.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Reason To Smile, Petite Pairs
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White, Patterns Stacks DSP – Brights (Daffodil Delight)
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Stazon Jet Black
Accessories: 3/8” Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon, Textured Impressions – Designer Frames, Big Shot, Brads – Neutrals, Stamp-a-ma-jig.

I thought the sentiment from Petite Pairs was so appropriate with the Reason to Smile stamp set.

So, do you like??

Till next time…..
