Array of Sunshine

I’ve finally finished the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy (twice) and decided I really need to get back into some stamping and blogging rather than just reading. I’ve also started and finished Karin Slaughter’s Grant County Series and Will Trent Series all within the last month. My desire to stamp and create really needs to come back and it’s not going to happen if I do everything but stamping and creating.

My aim, apart from to do some more regular stamping and blogging, is to try and use only stamp sets that are retiring this month. I’m hoping that will mean that every stamp set I own that will be leaving has at least been used once since I’ve owned it. I find every year I have uninked stamp sets which isn’t a good thing at all.

I’ve decided to participate in Stamping 411’s Saturday Sketch Challenge SSC266 to ease back into things.

Here’s the Sketch we are given to use.

Some suggested measurements were given for this card layout which I decided to use as it makes a lovely small card great to include with a customer order.

Here’s my end creation.

Supplies:

Stamp sets: Array of Sunshine (Hostess), Short & Sweet
Card: Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Berry Blossoms DSP
Ink: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso
Accessories: Mat Pack, Paper Piercer.

The colours I’ve used come from the Berry Blossoms DSP. These In Colours will remain for another catalogue but the DSP and stamp sets are both leaving us on 31st August or sooner if stocks run out.  I’ve stamped the focal image twice and cut out the centre of the second image which I’ve then mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it some more dimension.

I hope you like my little card. I’m off to get the washing off the line then I’ll be back to post our July Market photos and the links for the Retirement Lists.

Till next time……
