Wow what a month October has been.
My friend (neighbour and fellow demonstrator) and I managed 3 markets in 7 days. The first 2 were within 3 days and I also had a birthday party to put on in between those 2 for my 2nd eldest. We met some lovely people at these markets and I look forward to meeting up with those that have already booked into my November classes in the next week or 2. I still have spaces left if anyone else would like to come along. Just make sure to give me a couple of days notice so I can have kits ready. My class schedule is in my right sidebar ——>.
I’ve altered my Stamp-A-Stack classes this time around and instead of the traditional way of making 4 cards each of 2 different designs you’ll be making 2 sets of cards. Each set will have 4 cards and those 4 cards coordinate with each other in that they use the same colours and stamp set. This time I have one set of traditional Christmas cards (greens & reds) and one non traditional set of cards (grey & purples). Here’s a little peak of the cards we’ll be making in November.
Here’s some photo’s of our market displays.
This was my side of our stall at the Kings Langley Village Fair. Meighan had the other side and we had a Make & Take table set up at the front. It’s also where I made some more Christmas Cards to add to my display stand when we had quiet times.
The weather couldn’t decide what it wanted to do on the day. It started out nice but not long after we were set up in rolled the clouds. No rain came though and it cleared up for a while with some heat in it too. I didn’t realise I was sunburnt until later that evening. But come early afternoon the wind picked up blowing our items everywhere and bringing the clouds with it again. Quite a few stall holders ended up packing up a little early as did we. I think it was just the last hour which was a shame but we’d had a great day meeting lots of lovely ladies.
This was actually our 2nd market which was on Sunday 21st. We had our regular monthly market stall which was changed to the Friday Night for a Girls Night In on the 19th. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos to show you of that set up.
Then last Friday night, 26th October, we had a stall at the Werrington Public School Fete. Here’s a shot of Meighan & I.
So that was our hectic October. November is a lot quieter in regards to markets as we just have our Western Sydney Community Indoor Market on Sunday 18th November at St Mary’s Memorial Hall, but I have a few classes on for November. Check them out and if you are interested in coming along please email or phone me (H: 02 9620 9092 or M: 0418 218 467) to book in. If you can’t get to me I’m happy to come to you at a convenient time if you have a group of 5 or more ladies or if you don’t live within driving distance (I’m situated at Lalor Park, NSW) I can make the class into a kit. The kit will provide instructions, cardstock, dsp, ribbon, embellishments (all pre-cut). You will need inkpads, adhesives and any stamps needed to complete the cards. I’m happy to place an order for any items you may require.
I have lots of creations to share with you. Some that were made for the markets and also some that I made for a Secret Sister swap which has just completed and that means that now I can share them with you all too.
I’m going to spend part of the evening typing up some more posts so there should be a good few days of regular posting ahead and hopefully by then I’ll have more creations to share with you. I’ve got the Taxes all done and lodged, just have to do statements tomorrow for the business and then work on an order I have for some Christmas items but those I’ll be able to share with you when they are done.
