Sketch Inkspiration

The final DT Challenge was a Sketch Challenge. Here’s the Sketch.

and here’s my end creation.

I decided I’d make another Christmas Card this time using the lovely snowflakes from the Snow Swirled stamp set.  This card looks so much nicer in real life as it’s very sparkly. I’ve used some Silver Glimmer Paper and some Rhinestones for the sparkle.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Snow Swirled
Card: Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Silver Glimmer Paper
Ink: Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy & Baja Breeze
Accessories: Basic Jewels – Rhinestones, Stamp-a-ma-jig.

Well that’s all my entries for the DT Call.

I do have other things to share which I will do from tomorrow. I have a couple of items that I made for the recent Sydney Heartfelt Stampin’ Up event as I was demonstrating in Product Playground, along with some other creations to share with you too.

Challenge 3 is a Photo Inkspiration and this is the Photo provided.

I’ve decide to pull colours and the Owl from the photo to use in creating my card.

Here’s what I came up with.

I love how this one turned out. The colours are gorgeous together. I think so anyway so feel free to let me know what you think.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Petite Pairs
Card: Basic Gray, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Neutrals Patterns Stack (Basic Gray)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Owl Builder Punch, Bird Builder Punch, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Big Shot, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Mat & Piercing Tool.

Color Inkspiration

Next up is the Color Inkspiration.

Here’s the challenge.

 

 

I found these colours a little hard to work with at first. I tried a few stamp sets and few different combinations with amounts of each colour and nothing was really working. I pulled out an older set and things just fell into place. Here’s what I ended up with.

 

 

It’s a clean and simple style card but I’m really happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it too.

Card: Old Olive, Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Neutrals Patterns Stack (Soft Suede)
