It’s time for another Challenge from Inkspirational and this week it’s a Photo Inkspiration.

With a photo ‘inkspiration’ you can take anything you like from the photo to use as inspiration to create your project. So you could think ‘window’, ‘hearts’, ‘flowers’ or you could take a colour or colours. The choice is yours but we must be able to see something in your creation that has been inspired by this photo.
What did I take?
Hearts, Window and Flowers. I decided to use the sponsor image again from ‘A Day for Daisies’ which for me is ‘Cherry Blossom Cluster’.

You can obviously see the ‘hearts’ and ‘flowers’ but are you wondering about the ‘window’. Well it’s not an open/shut window but more a sunken window. That’s what I’m going to call it anyway. The large heart is actually a frame mounted with dimensionals with the main image recessed inside.
Here’s another angle to show it a little better.

The flower images have been sized and printed onto Express-It card and coloured using Copic Markers. The colours I’ve used are YG23, RV000, RV32 & RV34.
The sentiment and all other materials are from Stampin’ Up.
Supplies: (all SU unless specified)
Stamps: Delightful Dozen, Cherry Blossom Cluster (A Day for Daisies)
Card: Primrose Petals, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Subtles Pattern Stack (Baja Breeze print)
Ink: So Saffron, Baja Breeze & Primrose Petals Markers
Accessories: Hearts Collection Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Wide Oval Punch, Basic Jewels – Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals.
So that’s my creation. Pop on over to Inkspirational and check out what the rest of the Design Team have created and upload your ‘Photo Inkspiration’ creation to join in the challenge.
I’m back with my final creation today. For this one I’ve used the Come To Bethlehem stamp set.
I photographed this one at the event. It’s not a great picture due to the reflection coming off the glass but this would be the case regardless.

Once again I’ve used Whisper White cardstock to brayer onto. In real life it makes it almost look like canvas. To get the ‘sand’ shape just right to fit the stamp I stamped the image onto a large Post-It Note and then cut along the bottom edge of the stamp. I think used this as a mask. I used the other piece to mask the sand when brayering the top. Doing this as a double frame was a little trickier as I didn’t want the Bethlehem part of the image stamped again but I wanted them images to line up so they looked like a long camel train. I’m happy with my end result.
Supplies:
Stamps: Come to Bethlehem, Greetings of the Season
Card: Whisper White
Ink: Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Versamark
Accessories: Black Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Brayer
