Inkspirational EOTWE #7

I’m back today to share my creation for this weeks Photo Inkspiration Challenge.

Here’s the Inkspiration again.

Our sponsor for the month, Eclectic Anthology, has some great ‘Flower Basket’ Freebies to download so I thought I’d give Paper Tole a go. I’m sure those that do Paper Tole regularly would have probably had lots more layers to their creation than I did but I’m still really happy with my results. This is what I came up with.

I decided not to put a sentiment on this card. Firstly, I couldn’t find something I liked and would fit without unbalancing the card. Secondly, it leaves the card open for any occasion.

Here’s another view so you can actually see some of the Paper Tole.

And one more for a close up.

I’m really happy how this turned out and even though it’s a bit fiddly cutting out all the different layers, it was well worth it. I’d love to hear what you think.

Don’t forget to make your own creation and link it up to the Inkspirational challenge.

Going Dotty…..

The ABC Challenge blog has a theme for this fortnight of ‘G for Going Dotty…..’ which I thought I’d participate in.

I’m slowly getting back into creating. I have actually been making Easter items for my markets this Sunday but I haven’t done much in the line of challenges so I’m happy I managed to get a card done for this one even if it is ‘just in the nick of time’……lol

I have used a ‘Miss Anya Love’ image from ‘The Greeting Farm’ which I have coloured using Copic Markers.

The colours I have used are: Skin – E000, E00, E11 & R20, Hair – YR20, YR21, YR24 & E35, Dress & Ribbon – R000, R30, R32 & R35, Shoes – C1, C6 & C9 and the Flowers – BG10, BG11, BG13, Y11 & Y15. The final touch was to add some ‘dots’ using my White Sharpie pen. I hadn’t used my Sharpie pen before and I just loved how the dress turned out after using it. Let’s just hope I don’t make everything have spots……..lol

Here’s a closer look at the coloured image.

I’m really happy with how my card turned out and it was so nice to ‘colour’.
