Just saying hello!

It’s time for another fun challenge over at  The ABC Challenge and this time the challenge is  ‘J for Just As You Like’ or in simpler terms ‘Anything Goes’.
Our sponsors for this challenge are ‘The Paper Shelter’ and ‘Stamp and Create’.
I have chosen the gorgeous Zoe Spring digital image from The Paper Shelter for my card today.

I’ve coloured the image using Copic Markers. The colours I used are: Skin – E0000, E000, E00 & R20, Hair – YR0000,YR20, YR21 & YR24,
Clothes – R0000, R81, R83, R85, YG0000, YG03, YG21, YG23 & YG25, Flowers & Pants patch – Y0000, Y15, Y17, YG13 & YG17.
My image was printed onto Xpress-It Blending card while all other card and designer series papers are from Stampin’ Up.

There is a sentiment in the bottom right corner which unfortunately is a little hard to see. I’ve used a retired Stampin’ Up Rub-on for this.
Here’s a closer look.

I’m thinking now that it might have been better to have used the Chocolate Chip Rub-on but I didn’t want to damage the whole card trying to remove the white so I could apply the other.

Here’s a closer look at the main image.

I really like the green and pick together. I’ve teamed the main image with the Stampin’ Up colours – Lucky Limeade, Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit.
I’ve carried some of the DSP to the inside of the card as well.
