Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge have a sketch challenge on at the moment so I decided to create a card using a Christmas stamp set I never got around to using last year.
Here is what I created.
I really like how this card turned out.
I’ve used some of the Be of Good Cheer DSP for two of the patterned areas and left the other areas Very Vanilla so I could stamp and colour my image and add my sentiment.
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Polar Party
Card: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight
Accessories: Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon, Aqua Painter
I think I’ll make some more of these up as it’s a great way to use up some of my DSP that will retire in June.
It will also be good to get a start on some Christmas Cards so the aren’t left to the last minute.
Well I hope you like my card. Would love for you to leave me a comment.
Love it, Nikki!
I also love what you’ve done with MDS – makes it easy to personalise your blog! Looks very professional.
Thanks Louise. Look forward to catching up in Brissie soon.
Love your take on the sketch Nikki. Great paper choice and the image and sentiment are perfect! Thanks for sharing with us Holly Jolly this week. Come back soon. Meighan
