M for ‘Make It Sparkle’

Our challenge for you today over at ABC Challenges is ‘M for Make It Sparkle’.

Our sponsors for this challenge are The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and Tilda’s Town.

I recently purchase some DSP stacks from a craft shop and some of the pages had sparkle on them so naturally I wanted to use them in my creation. One of the papers also had crowns on it so I decided to use an image from the Tilda Prince & Princess range so I could add some sparkle to her crown.

Here’s what I came up with.

I’ve used lots of ‘new’ goodies on this card. A new sentiment stamp, some new flowers and of course new DSP.

I’m not sure if you can actually notice in the picture but the floral DSP has a glitter/sparkle over the flowers and ribbon.

I’ve stamped my image onto X-Press It Blending Card using Memento – Tuxedo Black ink.

My image is coloured using the following Copic Markers.

Skin – E00, E000, E0000 & R20
Hair – E47, E44, E42 & E40
Dress & Shoes – G24, G21, G20 & G0000
Crown & Socks – R83, R81, R0000

Here’s a closer view of the main image.

One more….

This last one shows the sparkle on her crown a little better. I hope you can see it….

I’ve also finished off the inside of the card.

I love how this card turned out.

Hopefully you can see my Copic colouring improving as I play and practice more.

Hop on over to ABC Challenges and see what the rest of the DT and our Guest DT member have created to inspire you with this wonderful theme.
