Polka Dot Birthday

I’m finally getting around to some blogging of Stampin’ Up! creations but I hope you have still enjoyed my Copic creations.

Todays item is a Gift Card holder using the Pop ‘N’ Cuts Base.

I found a great youtube tutorial (many actually) by Tanya Bell using the Pop ‘N’ Cuts base to make items different to the initial intention of the die.

Check out Tanya’s youtube channel here and the tutorial for the Gift Card Holder here.

I love Using dies in different ways as it shows your customers that the die is much more versatile than just it’s initial purpose.

I knew straight away what products (DSP, Stamp Set & Colours) I was going to use to recreate my own version of Tanya’s Gift Card Holder and this is how it turned out.

And the inside….

You may not be able to see it too clearly but there is an additional piece of card attached at the bottom (where the ribbon is wrapped) which will hold the gift card.

There is also a nice sized area to write a message to the lucky recipient.

I love how this turned out.

I hope you like my Gift Card Holder I created using Tanya’s tutorial.
