Joyous Christmas

It’s time for a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog and this week is

Anything Goes with a Christmas Theme.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Eureka Stamps.

Unfortunately I don’t have any Eureka Stamps so I’ve chosen to use a gorgeous new Whimsy Stamp called ‘Friendship is the Greatest Gift’ available in rubber from Loves Rubber Stamps.

I have the digital image of this stamp which I have printed onto Cryogen White cardstock and coloured with Copic Markers.

Hair – E49, E47, E44, E42, E40

Box – T5, T3, T1, T0

Here’s a closer look at the image.

I’ve finished off the inside with some dsp.

I’m so happy how this card turned out.

Joy to You and Yours

It’s time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational Challenges and this time we have a Photo Inkspiration.

When I saw this picture I knew I was going to create a Christmas Card of some sorts and then I found the perfect image of Cardinals.

Here’s my card.

This lovely stamp is from Flourishes and is called Snow Wonderful. The sentiment is from their Petals & Peace set and they also have a coordinating die set to cut both the image and sentiment.

I’ve stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black onto XPress-It Blending Card and coloured with my Copic Markers.

The colours I’ve used are:

Branch – E29, E27, E23, E0000

Leaves – G99, G94, G0000

Cardinals – R59, R29, R27, R24, R22, R0000, YR23, YR21

Background – B000, B0000

Here’s a close up of the image.

And to finish off the inside I’ve added some of the dsps.

Supplies:
Stamps: Snow Wonderful, Petals & Peace (Flourishes)
Card: Early Espresso, Whisper White (Stampin’ Up), XPress-It Blending Card, DSP (unknown)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
