Magnolia Goodness….

While browsing Pinterest recently I came across a gorgeous card made by Lisa (which you can see here) using the lovely Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and coordinating Magnolia Lane Designer Series Papers. Once I adjusted the measurements for our cardstock I was on a roll. I ended up making a bunch with a couple of varieties of the papers and coordinating cardstock and a few different sentiments.

To make these bases for these cards I used the following: Cardstock (base & insert) – 1 x 105mm x 297mm & 1 x 75mm x 267mm, DSP – 2 x 101mm x 70mm & 1 x 101mm x 144mm, Top layers (Whisper White in my cards) – 2 x 71mm x 70mm & 1 x 71mm x 115mm.  You need to score the base & insert pieces at 74mm & 148mm. On the larger piece the 74mm score is the mountain and the 148mm score the valley but on the smaller piece it’s the opposite. You then decorate the base with the dsp before adhering the smaller insert piece. Then add your top layers and decorate as desired.  I hope those instructions are simple enough and help you out.
