I’m back again today to share another creation. I can’t promise a post every day but I’m trying to get back into more regular posts so hopefully there will be at least a few each week.
Today’s post is another Christmas card using a Holiday Catalogue stamp set.
There are some great Christmas stamp sets in the new Holiday Catalogue and one (of many) that I had to have was Peaceful Boughs.
The card I’m sharing with you today is a CASE of a sample in the Holiday Catalogue.
Here is what I created.
Here is the sample in the catalogue.
I’ve used another layer of cardstock instead of the patterned paper in my creation and stamped some ‘bough’ images from the stamp set randomly using Versamark Ink to create a subtle background. Althought I really like the fussy cut “Season’s” in the sentiment on the catalogue sample there is no way I would be able to fussy cut that cleanly so I left mine flat and inked up the image using Stampin’ Write Markers. I’ve also used some different colours. I used Real Read instead of Cherry Cobbler and I’ve just used Garden Green as the sole green, instead of Mint Macaron & Garden Green used in the sample.
Do you prefer one more than the other?
