I have 2 cards to share with you today and for both I’m using the Art Gallery stamp set & coordinating Floral Gallery Dies along with the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Papers.
The Art Gallery stamp set & dies are currently available in both the January – June Mini Catalogue and also the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. However, they are only available as a bundle in the January – June Mini so if you are interested in purchasing this set you can pick up the bundle for a 10% discount only until the end of June. Please note the Fine Art Floral DSP is only availabe in the January – June Mini so if you want some or more of that don’t forget to order it before it’s gone.
To make this card I started with an A5 piece of Pool Party cardstock folded in half. I cut 3 strips of designer series paper 32mm x 143mm which I have glued to the base card leaving an even gap between the strips and also on the edges. Next up I cut a die in Pool Party from the Painted Labels die set.
I coloured the image using an array of Stampin’ Write Markers (Pool Party, Bumble Bee, Poppy Parade & Blushing Bride) and stamped onto Basic White cardstock. I meant to pull out Petal Pink (as that is what coordinates with the papers) but I liked the Blushing Bride so I left it. This image was then die cut with the coordinating die. I mounted the image to the Pool Party label using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next up I stamped the sentiment using Night Of Navy ink onto Basic White card. This has been die cut using a die from the coordinating Floral Gallery dies. I have layered this onto the Pool Party label using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right and glue on the left side over the flower stem.
The label piece was then mounted to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. My final touch was to add some Gilded Gems.
For my second card I have used a Merry Merlot A5 base card folded in half. My strips are cut at 32mm x 143mm and adhered using glue. I have also die cut a Merry Merlot label using the Tasteful Labels dies.
This time I have used the other floral images as my main images. The larger flower was first stamped with second generation Flirty Flamingo onto Basic White card. I have then stamped the second part of the image in second generation Merry Merlot. The smaller flower image was also stamped in second generation Flirty Flamingo onto Basic White card.
I wanted some leaves or greenery to go with my flowers, so I stamped both the flower stem and also the flower I used in the first card in Old Olive onto Basic White card. Some where in full strength and others in second generation. All the images were then die cut and then trimmed so I just had the leaves and ‘sprigs’. I played around with placement and decided to go with the ‘sprig’ pieces from the floral image.
The floral images and ‘sprigs’ are mounted to the Merry Merlot label using either Stampin’ Dimensionals or glue. My sentiments are from the Ornate Thanks stamp set. I stamped the Thanks in Old Olive onto Basic White and trimmed. This was then mounted using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right end and glue on the left over the flower. The remained of the sentiment was stamped using Merry Merlot onto Basic White and fussy cut. I have then mounted this to the card using small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The completed label piece was then mounted to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly, I again added some Gilded Gems to complete the card.
The inspiration for both these cards came from a sample on the inside front cover of the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue.
