Daffodil Daydream Thanks

I really love how this card I’m sharing with you today turned out. I’ve use the Daffodil Daydream bundle from the January – June 2022 Mini Catalogue. We also have the January – February (or in Australia’s case 16th March) Sale-A-Bration brochure which has the gorgeous coordinating Daffodil Afternoon DSP that I have also used. Here is my end creation.

I started out with a Pale Papaya base card. I adhered a piece of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to a Basic Black layer and then glued this to the base card. Next I die cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Scallop Contour Dies. I splattered some Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends on top to add a bit of texture and fill in some empty space.

I stamped the 2 Daffodil images onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Daffodil Delight & Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends before die cutting with the matching dies. These images where then mounted to the Scallop frame die cut using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I added some Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock before die cutting the top layer ‘thanks’ from the Amazing Thanks dies. I then cut the bottom layer from Basic Black before adhering the 2 pieces together. This was then mounted over the Daffodils using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then decided to add a butterfly to fill in some space so stamped the image onto a scrap of Very Vanilla using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using Pale Papaya & Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends. I then die cut the image and mounted using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This completed layer was then mounted to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the final touch I added some Genial Gems.

I dressed up the inside of the card using a strip of the dsp.
