Sale-A-Bration time is always exciting and now that we have 2 a year it’s even more so.
The Friendly Hello bundle was one of the first items I wanted. The images in the stamp set are so versatile and the Designer Series paper is gorgeous. Soft pretty colours and some of the dsp can be stamped on using the images in the stamp set. How cool is that?
I decided to CASE one of the cards from the Sale-A-Bration brochure with a few minor changes.
Here are the sample cards.
And here is my card.
I started out with a Fresh Freesia base card. To this I adhered a piece of the coordinating Friendly Hello dsp. Next I added a piece of Vellum cardstock being careful where I added glue so it wouldn’t be seen. A piece of Fresh Freesia ribbon was adhered on top of this using Mini Glue Dots.
I then stamped the floral image on top of the matching flowers on the Granny Apple Green piece of the Designer Series Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also stamped the small bud image in the same way. Next I stamped the leaf sprig using Shaded Spruce ink on top of the leaves to create some depth before fussing cutting out the whole portion from the dsp. I have also stamped the solid leaf image using Granny Apple Green ink onto Basic White cardstock and the outline using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut. The single leaf was adhered onto the main image piece before mounting to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set and has been stamped in Fresh Freesia ink onto Basic White cardstock. I have then die cut using the Layering Circle Dies. This is then mounted using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the final touch I added some Iridescent Rhinestones.
I dressed up the inside of the card using a strip of the dsp.
