Earlier this month we had a team Stamp Camp and one of the things we do each year at Stamp Camp are Shoebox Swaps. Not sure what a Shoebox Swap is? Someone creates a card and then inside a ‘shoebox’ they include everything for all attendees to be able to recreate that card. The card I’m sharing today was the shoebox swap created by Marelle Taylor, who is our fabulous team leader. Birthday cards are my most used so this was perfect for me.
You don’t have to make the card exactly as they did but there are no additional pieces included so anything different you need to add yourself from your own supplies.
I liked Marelle’s card just as it was but I did make one small change that I hadn’t realised until I’d finished the card. What did I change? I mounted the scallop rectangle using Stampin’ Dimensionals instead of just gluing to the card base. Who would of thought I’d do that……lol
This is a nice, reasonably quick card if you needed to make multiples. I love Shoebox swaps like this.
You can check out another card I made using this set here.
You can purchase any of the items I’ve used to create my card by visiting my Online Shop, clicking the image below, phone me on 0418 218 467 or or email me and I’d be happy to help you.
