Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for March. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our March Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. Here are the colours we were challenged to use.
These colours will be leaving us shortly so if you need any of them don’t leave it too long or you will miss out.
I decided to use the Honeybee Home stamp set & coordinating dies from the January – June 2022 Mini Catalogue, along with the Timeless Tropics stamp set for the sentiment.
Here’s what I created.
To make my card, I randomly stamped one of the bee images from the Honeybee Home stamp set using Versamark ink onto a Bumblebee base card. Next I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 83mm x 126mm. To this I added a 35mm x 122mm piece of Midnight Muse cardstock, a 25mm x 122mm piece of Bumblebee dsp and a 15mm x 122mm piece of Magenta Madness cardstock, leaving an even border around each piece.
I then stamped the floral image using Magneta Madness ink onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock. This was then die cut using the coordinating die. Next, I die cut the Bumblebee piece using the same dies. I mounted the Bumblebee die cut using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the floral piece using glue on the bottom of the stem with Stampin’ Dimensionals placed under the flowers to lift it up.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from Timeless Tropical using Midnight Muse ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. Using a piece of Bumblebee Gingham Trim I tied a bow around the panel piece before mounting the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This piece was then mounted to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals before adding a final touch of some Classic Matte Dots in white.
You may also wish to check out this card I made recently also using this colour combination.
I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.
