I realised the other day that it’s approximately 6 weeks (give or take a day or 2) until the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue sales period ends and I still have heaps of unused, or slightly used, Designer Series Paper Packs. So, I have given myself a challenge to use as much designer series paper between now and then, and hope to have a lot less retired dsp come 3rd May when the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue is released.
The first pack I decided needed to be used is Bloom Where You’re Planted. I purchased this suite as my mum loves her plants and has quite the green thumb. I definitely don’t take after her so this was a good option for me….lol. It’s Mum’s birthday on April 1st so I definitley wanted to use this set for her Birthday card. To get the creative juices flowing I decided to CASE the Catty.
This was my first card.
This card is made using some stamping but also some fussy cutting from the Designer Series Paper. I’ve altered the sentiment on my card, initially planning to use it for Mum’s Birthday Card but I think I’ll use another I made. I’ll share that one on another day. I also added some Clear Epoxy Essentials to my card and they look like rain drops.
I won’t post all the cards I’ve made using the same dsp each day. I’ll switch them up, so check daily to see what I’ve been creating.
