Continuing on from yesterday’s post, the next Designer Series Paper I created with was Hand-Penned. I have used this one before but not for a while and it’s so pretty. If I’m lucky I’ll finish this one completely.
Inspiration for this card came from a few different cards I came across on Pinterest using the Tailored Tag Punch.
Here’s what I created.
I started by punching out lots of Tailored Tag punches from the offcuts I had in my pack. This is a great way to use up some ‘scraps’. I decided to use the pattern piece that had Highland Heather in it so that decided my base card colour and also my punched piece for the sentiment.
Next I cut a piece of Basic White card and started layering the pieces on top to determine my layout. once I was happy with how it looked I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them all apart from the sentiment piece. I then turned the card over and trimmed the overhanding pieces with Paper Snips.
My sentiment was then stamped using Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Before mounting this to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I wrapped a piece of Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding around the card and tied in a bow. This piece was then glued to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
To finish off I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
