Today’s card is using the Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper pack. This dsp has gorgeous copper, gold & silver foil elements on one side and subtler patterns on the reverse.
A few posts back I shared this Centre-Step Easel Card that I made at Stamp Camp in February. I decided to make another using the Simply Elegant DSP and adapt the measurements slightly to show a little more of the paper pattern.
Here is what I created.
To make this card I used a Basic Black base card. I’ve scored and cut where needed. The floral centre piece has been fussy cut from one of the designer series papers. All the designer series papers have been mounted to a layer of copper foil sheets before adding to the card sections. I’ve also added a copper foil layer to the centre piece, sentiment piece and insert section.
The final touch for the centre piece was to add some Mettalic Pearls to fill some of the empty space.
Here’s another angle of the card showing the sentiment as the ‘stopper’ to hold the card up.
Here’s is a photo of the inside of the card when open.
I’ve added another fussy cut image from the designer series paper.
I hope you like this card as much as I do.
