Hand-Penned

It’s time for another card using the Hand-Penned Designer Series Papers.

You can check out my previous card here.

Today’s card was inspired by this card, made by Michele Taylor, that I came across on Pinterest.

Here is what I created.

To make my card I started with a Basic White A4 Thick piece of card cut to A5 and folded in half to form a landscape card. I then cut a piece of designer series paper 144mm x 101mm and adhered to the front of the base card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Next I stamped my outline image onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then stamped the solid image using Blushing Bride ink for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz ink for the leaves. This was then die cut using the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies.

I then die cut a circle from the Layering Circle dies, and the detailed floral die from Penned Flowers dies using Basic White cardstock. Next, I mounted the image to the Circle die cut using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This was then mounted to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The detailed floral die was then cut into 2 pieces before adding glue to the bottom edge of each piece and tucking it under the main piece.

I chose a sentiment from the Many Happenings stamp set which I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock before die cutting with the coordinating Messages Die. My sentiment was then mounted to the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the final touch, I added some Iridescent Rhinestones.
