Today I’m sharing a Shadow Box I created for my Mum’s Birthday using the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP.
You can see the card I made her here using this DSP and the coordinating Plentiful Plants stamp set & dies.
Here is my shadow box.
To make this I have used the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP for all the plant images. I’ve added a few die cuts from the Perfect Plants dies – the hanging basket, a pot plant and a pot plant stand. The word ‘HOME’ was die cut from the dsp and also Basic White cardstock, for added strenghth, using the Playful Alphabet dies. They were glued together and then mounted using the Foam Adhesive Strips.
My shadow box is from IKEA and was just sitting on my shelf waiting to be put to use. I hope mum likes this.
Some of these images from the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP have a coordinating die, from the Perfect Plants dies, that will cut out the image. Those images that didn’t have a die I have used my new Brother Scan N Cut machine to cut them out. I’ve had a Silhouette Cameo for years and still love it but I really like the ability to scan designer series papers directly into the Brother Scan N Cut without having to connect to a computer. I’m looking forward to putting it to more use with my crafting.
