Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for April. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our April Blog Hop is a Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch we were challenged to use.
I initally made only 1 card for this sketch but while I was playing with some other ‘soon to be retiring’ designer series papers I created a second.
Card 1
Details:
- Basic Gray base card. I cut the A4 piece in half on the short side, folded & scored in half.
- Basic Black – 87mm x 130mm
- DSP – 84mm x 127mm. Adhere to Basic Black layer using glue.
- Simply Elegant Trim – Silver. Wrap around card front 3 times adhering ends to back of Basic Black card using Mini Glue Dots. Mount to card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Basic Black – 70mm x 45mm. Stamp sentiment in Versamark ink and heat emboss using Silver embossing Powder. Die cut using Hippo & Friends dies. Mount to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals placed only on centre top and bottom.
- Vellum Cardstock – punch using Bough Punch twice. Tuck under sentiment piece and adhere using glue.
Insert:
- Basic Black – 87mm x 130mm
- Very Vanilla – 84mm x 127mm.
- DSP – 84mm x 25mm. Glue to bottom of Very Vanilla piece, then to Basic Black card and finally to inside card.
