Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for June. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our June Blog Hop is a Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch we were challenged to use.
I kept my card pretty simple and let the gorgeous Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper do all the work.
Here’s my end creation.
To make my card I used a Highland Heather card base. Next, I cut a piece of the dsp, 10cm x 14.8cm, and glued to the base card leaving the folded edge free and lining up the open edge. This creates the ‘strip’ on the left. I then cut a piece of Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer Ribbon and flagged one end. I added Tear & Tape to the back and adhered to the card front, trimming any excess overhanging the open edge. Next, I cut a strip of Rich Razzleberry cardstock, 7.5cm x 1.5cm. I flagged one end, applied liquid glue to the back and then added to the card front as shown, again trimming any overhand on the open edge. My sentiment is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set and I have stamped this onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Rich Razzleberry ink. I have then die cut this using the Layering Circle dies along with a larger circle from Highland Heather. I have glued these 2 pieces together before mounting to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.
I’ve used other images from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in this card here.
