Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for September. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our September Blog Hop is a SketchChallenge. Here is the sketch we were challenged to use.
I decided to use some of the flowers that I had previously fussy cut from the Hues of Happiness DSP for my shapes and teamed with the Happiness Abounds stamp set for the sentiment.
Here’s what I created.
To make my card I firstly embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Bricks & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered this to a Pool Party base card using liquid glue. Next, I arranged my fussy cut flowers & leaves and once happy with the positioning I have adhered them using Stampin’ Dimensionals and/or liquid glue. My sentiment was then stamped on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This was then mounted to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touch on the front was to add some of the Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems in Pool Party.
I also decorated the insert. It’s a great way to use up some of those flowers from the edge of the dsp.
I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.
