Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for October. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our October Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. Here are the colours we were challenged to use.
I decided to make a ‘non-traditional’ Christmas Card using the Merriest Moments stamp set and coordinating Hybrid die & embossing folder.
Here’s the end result.
How to make:
Base card – Sweet Sorbet A5, score and folded in half;
DSP – Blushing Bride cut slightly smaller than base card front, adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue:
Frame – Old Olive, die cut using detailed frame die and then emboss with the hybrid embossing folder, mount using Stampin’ Dimensionals;
Sentiment piece – Stamp sentiment onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Blushing Bride ink, die cut using the inside frame, mount using Stampin’ Dimensionals;
Poinsettia’s – Stamp both images onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Sweet Sorbet ink, die cut, layer smaller image on top using Mini Glue Dots, curl petals using bone folder, mount top one with Stampin’ Dimensionals and bottom one with glue;
Embellish – Use gold Festive Pearls.
I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.
