Today’s card is a pretty Birthday card made using the Perfectly Pencilled DSP. This paper has some gorgeous prints that can be used in many ways. I’ve used Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers on this one before fussy cutting.
Details:
To make my card I first added some Orchid Oasis ink to a piece of Basic White card using a Blending Brush. I then embossed this piece using the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. This was then glued to a piece of Basic Black cardstock slightly larger to create a small border. Next, I glued this to an A5 Orchid Oasis cardstock piece which I scored and folded in half.
I then coloured one of the images from the Perfectly Pencilled DSP using Stampin’ Blends. The colours I’ve used are Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party and Daffodil Delight for the centres. Next, I fussy cut the image using my Brother Scan ‘n’ Cut but is can also be fussy cut by hand. I trimmed off part of the flower so it would fit on the card front better. This piece was then glued to the card front while the main flower image was mounted using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
My sentiment was then stamped onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock using Versamark. I then used White embossing powder and heat embossed before die cutting with the coordinating die. My final step was to add some Iridescent Rhinestones to add a little sparkle.
