Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #48

November 14, 2022 | 6 comments

Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for November.  Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our November Blog Hop is a Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch we were challenged to use.

November Blog Hop Sketch

I decided to use the Framed Florets products for my card and I love how this turned out. While typing up my post, I realised I used one of the layers in the wrong order, but it’s close enough. You might not have even realised until I pointed it out….lol

Here’s what I created.

I’ve also decorated the inside.

This is a great way to use some of the images fussy cut from the edges of the designer series papers.

Details:

To make my card I started with a piece of Basic White Thick A4 cardstock cut to 105mm x 297mm. I scored in half on the long side and folded to make my base card. Next, I cut a piece of Polished Pink DSP at 101mm x 30mm from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper Pack. This was then adhered to the card base using glue.

Next, I cut two more pieces of patterned paper from the Fitting Florets DSP pack, 90mm x 130mm. These where then glued to the card base diagonally, each in the opposite direction. I then stamped my sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Soft Succulent ink. This was then die cut using the smaller of the oval dies from the Framed Florets Dies. I also cut another from a piece of Evening Evergreen. Next, I glued the sentiment piece to the card front, and mounted the Evening Evergreen border using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

My floral image has been fussy cut from another piece of the Fitting Florets DSP and mounted using Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish the front of the card I added some 2021 – 2023 In Color Opal Rounds in Polished Pink.

Next, I fussy cut a floral edge image from the DSP and a strip of the Polished Pink DSP used on the front, again at 101mm x 30mm. I glued the floral image so it would tuck just under the DSP to hide the ‘missing’ bits, and then glued the DSP in place.

I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.

Definitely okay Kylie, but thanks for asking. As far as I’m concerned if you don’t want anyone CASEING your creations then don’t post them online.
