Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for December. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our December Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. Here are the colours we were challenged to use.
These colours threw my a little at first but once I decided on my stamp set the rest just came together.
Here’s what I created.
To make my card I started with an A5 piece of Calypso Coral cardstock which I scored and folded in half to create my base card. Next, I cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock at 101mm x 144mm. One piece is for the insert, and the other piece, I die cut using the Split Card Texture Dies before gluing to the base card.
Next, I stamped my image onto a 70mm x 110mm piece of Basic White cardstock using Stazon Jet Black ink. I then used Blender Pens with Orchid Oasis & Pear Pizzazz inkpads to colour the image before fussy cutting. My image was then mounted to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink onto a 70mm x 35mm piece of Calypso Coral cardstock before heat embossing using White embossing powder. Next, I die cut my sentiment using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I then mounted the sentiment piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touch was to add some Iridescent Rhinestones.
I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.
