Today’s card is another using the gorgeous Favored Flowers designer series papers from the Sale-A-Bration 2023 brochure. You can check out all the products on offer here.
Of course the flowers are gorgeous on the Favored Flowers designer series papers but the colours are what make it. Todays colours are Fresh Freesia, Basic Black, and Evening Evergreen.
Favored Flowers 2 Card Details
To make my card I started with a A5 base card in Evening Evergreen which was scored and folded in half. I then cut a piece of the Favored Flowers designer series paper 100mm x 143mm. Next, I cut a piece of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon approximately 160mm in length and adhered the ends on the back of the designer series paper using tear & tape. This was then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut another piece of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and tied this around the first piece to form a bow.
Next, I die cut the oval from the Framed Florets dies in Evening Evergreen. I then taped the edges of the oval piece in the Whisper White Craft inkpad to give it an edge. This was then mounted to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
My next step was to stamp the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies. This was then mounted to the oval piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then fussy cut a flower from the Favored Flowers designer series papers and adhered to the oval using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The final touch was to add a few Iridescent Rhinestones for a bit of sparkle.
I also decorated the inside of the card using one of the flowers cut from the edge of the dsp.
