Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for March. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our March Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. Here are the colours we were challenged to use.
For my card today I decided to use the Hostess Set, Garden Grandeur from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue.
Here’s what I created.
Blog Hop #52 Card Details.
To make my card I started with a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock measuring 105mm x 297mm. This was scored and folded in half to make a top folding card. Next, I cut 3 pieces of Basic White cardstock at 100mm x 143.5mm. One piece I put aside for the insert, one piece I embossed using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and the other I stamped my images onto using the challenge colours. I then fussy cut the images out.
Next, I played around with my fussy cut images until I was happy with the positioning. I then used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and/or Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere them to the embossed cardstock. This piece was then mounted to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
My sentiment was then stamped onto a piece of Pool Party cardstock using Versamark ink. I then covered the stamp with white embossing powder and heat embossed. Next, I used a frame die from the Harvest Die set to cut out the sentiment adjusting the length as required. This was then mounted to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds in Pale Papaya to add a little sparkle.
For the inside of my card, I glued a fussy cut stamped flower and some leaves before adhering to the inside using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.
