Now that the Retiring Lists have been released for the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalogue, I’m determined to make sure I use all my stamp sets at least once before they are gone. Every year I tell myself to make sure I use what I purchase before purchasing more, but it never happens. Maybe next year.
I’m working my way through alphabetically so the first stamp set is Bamboo Beauty. I’ve made this very simple card also using the retiring Bricks & Mortar 3D embossing folder and the retiring colour, Soft Suede.
Bamboo Beauty Card Details
To make my card I started with a piece of Soft Suede cardstock measuring 105mm x 297mm. This was then scored and folded in half to create my base card.
Next, I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock @ 100mm x 143.5mm. I then stamped the bamboo images onto this piece using Soft Suede Ink before embossing with the Bricks & Mortar 3D embossing folder. This was then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
My sentiment was then stamped using Soft Suede ink onto a 100mm x 450mm piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Next, I die cut the sentiment using the Fragrant Flowers dies before mounting to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I decorated the flap on the envelope with a piece of Soft Suede designer series paper.
For the inside of my card I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock @ 100mm x 143.5mm. I stamped the leaf image using Soft Suede ink before adhering to the inside using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
