Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for May. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our May Blog Hop is “Anything Goes“.
For my card today I’m using the new Layering Leaves stamp set from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. This stamp set coordinates with the Bough Punch that has carried over from the previous catalogue.
Blog Hop Card Details
To make my card I started with an A5 piece of Garden Green cardstock which was scored and folded in half. Next, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock @ 81mm x 124mm which I embossed using the Basics 3D Embossing Folders from Online Exclusives. This piece was then adhered to a 85mm x 128mm piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and then adhered to the card front.
Next, I stamped the different leaf images onto Basic White cardstock using Garden Green ink. When using the solid image I have stamped off once before stamping over the outline image leaves. I have then used the Bough punch to punch out the leaves and I also punched one from some Vellum cardstock.
For the flowers, I used Stampin’ Write markers to colour the stamps and stamped onto Basic White cardstock. The stems on both are using Garden Green, the solid flower is Flirty Flamingo and the line flower is using Calypso Coral. These were also punched using the Bough punch. I then adhered the leaf and flower images to the cardfront using Multipurpose glue on the bottom edges.
The sentiment was stamped using Garden Green ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and then adhered to a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. This piece was then mounted to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touch to the card front was to add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels which have been coloured using the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend.
For the inside of my card, I cut a 91mm x 134mm piece of Basic White cardstock and a 95mm x 138mm piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I adhered these pieces together and then adhered to the inside of the card. I also added another stamped leave and flower image.
I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.
