Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #24

It’s Blog Hop time again and this time we have a sketch.

If you are starting the hop here, welcome and I hope you like what I have created.

For my card I started out with a base card of Whisper White Thick which I have then added a layer of Old Olive that has been embossed using the Pinewood Planks 3D folder. Next I die cut a circle in Whisper White using the Stitched Shapes Dies. I’ve added a strip of Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo designer series papers from the Brights 6 x 6 DSP packs. I then die cut the ‘birthday’ in Old Olive using the Well Written dies and layered it onto a Whisper White piece which I created from tracing the die and then fussy cutting. Next I stamped and heat embossed in white the ‘WISHES’ sentiment onto Melon Mambo cardstock which is from the Well Said stamp set. Lastly I have stamped the floral image from the Four Season Floral stamp set in the Beginners Brochure onto Whisper White twice using Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloured using Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Once coloured I fussy cut them and mounted to the card.
