Clean & Simple Challenge

Just For You

Over on Utah Divas International this week their Colour Challenge #26 has so many colours to it I wasn’t sure what I’d be able to come up with.

That’s 6 colours and of course I decided to add a little Whisper White to my card also.

I don’t think I’ve seen a colour challenge with so many colours in it before.

I was a little unsure if I’d be able to make something I’d be happy with for this challenge, but after looking for a stamp set and coming up short on ideas I went with something a little different for me.

My focal point of the card is not stamping.

Here’s what I ended up creating.

I’ve used the Blossom Party Big Shot die.

I managed to get 4 of the 6 colours into the one flower and then included the last 2 as the base for the card.

The card layout is from Clean & Simple and is #123. I’ve reversed the sentiment and main image to the sketch though.

So what do you think? Did I pull it off?

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Just Believe
Card: Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Brights Pattern Stack – Daffodil Delight
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Blossom Party Die, Big Shot, Basic Jewels – Rhinestones.

Till next time…..

Every Moment….

I’m back with my 2nd post for the day and this time it’s for this weeks Inkspiration Colour Challenge #60.

I was initially thinking of using the stamp set ‘Hello Again’ but then decided on something else.

The set I chose to use I don’t think I’ve shared on here before. No it’s not a new set. I just can’t remember using it after Regionals last year. I like the set, I think I just overlook it all too often.

So what set am I talking about? You’ve probably worked that out if you are a demonstrator or paid attention to the post name, but if not it’s the ‘Every Moment’ stamp set.

My layout for this card has come from Clean & Simple sketch #103.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Every Moment
Card: So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Rose Red & Whisper White
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Versamark, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Rose Red
Accessories: Mat Pack & Paper Piercing Tool, Basic Jewels – Rhinestones, Aqua Painter

Till next time….

I’m back with a challenge card

Sorry about my sudden disappearance, especially since I’d been so active for a few weeks. I was hoping to keep that up until I had some family issues (teenagers and their attitudes) to deal with which took me away from everything for a while. Things are settling down and last week I managed to create a few things but those one’s I can’t share with you as they were for my Secret Sister swap over on Stampin’ Up in Oz. However I did create a birthday card last Friday for my wonderful friend and neighbour Meighan, which I’m going to share with you now. I had purchased Meighan a bunch of gorgeous wildflowers earlier in the day and the colours made me think of Concord Crush which I know is a current favourite of Meighan’s so I’ve used that in her card.

The challenge is from Clean & Simple #129.

As I had decided to use Concord Crush I went with the Lap of Luxury DSP, coordinating cardstock & Ink, the Style Beautiful stamp set along with Well Scripted for the sentiment. Here’s what I ended up with.

So what do you think??

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Style Beautiful, Well Scripted
Card: Concord Crush, Pretty In Pink, Very Vanilla, Lap of Luxury
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Concord Crush
Accessories: Pretty in Pink 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Nestabilities (non-SU)

I’ll be back in the more with a card for the Just Add Ink challenge for this week.

Till then…..
