It’s a new Inkspirational Challenge today and this week it’s a colour challenge.
So we have Pink, Banana and Slate to work with…….hmmmmmm.
I decided some of the retired Stampin’ Up colours better suited these choices. I’ve gone with Barely Banana for the Banana (naturally) and Bordering Blue for Slate as I think it was the best fit. For the Pink I’ve gone with Regal Rose.
Now for ‘what to create’.
I ended up with a few different projects to show you.
I made a card for the Inkspiration DT post but I have some additional creations to share with you here.
For my card I ended up going with the ‘Everything Eleanor’ and ‘Lacey & Lovely’ stamp sets from Stampin’ Up.
I’ve also added some Dazzling Details to the stamen on the flowers.
Here’s a close up but not too sure you will be able to see it.
Supplies: (All items Stampin’ Up unless specified otherwise)
Stamp sets: Everything Eleanor, Lacey & Lovely
Card: Barely Banana (retired), Whisper White
Ink: Bodering Blue (retired), Barely Banana (retired), Regal Rose
Accessories: Dazzling Details, Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Now for my next projects I’ve use the ‘new to Australia’ My Digital Studio to create some digital items.
First up I have a Scrapbook layout.
This layout is a pre-designed template which I have altered the colours to fit the challenge. I’ve added the photo (just drag & drop) and then added some journaling. Very easy to do.
The final item I have to share is a Digital Card creation. Again I have used a pre-designed template and changed out the colours to fit the challenge.
I’ve also completed the inside of the card and added some details to the back.
Here’s the inside. I haven’t added a sentiment as I didn’t have something to suit.
If I print this up I can always stamp something onto it directly or you can just leave it blank and write your own message.
Now the back of the pre-designed template cards all come with the Stampin’ Up logo and MDS logos but I wanted to add that it was made by me too.
Maybe the ‘Handmade’ wasn’t the best choice seeing it’s a Digital creation but then again I did spend the time on it…….
Now I just need to start playing with My Digital Studio and creating some cards, scrapbook layouts and other items from scratch.
You may have noticed I’ve made a few changes to my blog and website which are all done using My Digital Studio.
