Fancy Fold

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #29

It’s Blog Hop time again and this time we have a specific card challenge.

If you are starting the hop here, welcome and I hope you like what I have created.

I’m not really sure what this ‘fancy fold’ is called so please feel free to let me know. The inspiration actually came from one of my friends. A few of us catch up every fortnight and it had been a while since any of us had done much stamping so at the beginning of the year one of the ladies suggested once a month one person does a shoebox swap so we at least make one card a month……lol. This same lady made one of these style cards last month so I decided to recreate it (with a few minor adaptations) using the soon to retire Ornate Garden Speciality DSP which coordinates well with the Daisy Lane stamp set.

This is how the card opens up.

And then…..

One more view of the front.

All the products I’ve used to create this card are listed below.

Next in the hop is Kylie and you can visit her site by clicking the button.

It’s time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and this time the challenge is…..

‘A Card of Many Folds’.

This week, as always, we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter and Veronica & Pedro are offering a fabulous prize of $30 to spend at their site.

Challenge prize badge

If you use a TPS image in your creation you will receive the full $30 to spend on their gorgeous designs, and if you haven’t used a TPS image then you will win 3 Digis of your choice from their site.

For my creation today I’m using the gorgeous image from The Paper Shelter called Rose and I’ve made a card with many many folds.

Here’s the front of the card showcasing the image.

And here’s a close up of the image.

My image was printed onto Cryogen White cardstock and coloured with the following Copic Markers.

E11, E00, E000, R20, R30, E44, E43, E42, E41, R89, R85, R83, R81, BG75, BG72, BG70, BG96, BG93, BG90.

My image has been cut out using the Large & Small Classic Circle Nestabilities and then layered onto a Marianne Design Die.

Here’s a photo to the card with the image lifted.

And another with the card unfolded.

Card: Early Espresso & Whisper White(Stampin’ Up), Cryogen White, Telegraph Road Collection – Letter (Kaisercraft)
